- Linux環境で使用する場合は [[Mono]] を使用する．
- 設定ファイル ''bin/simconfig.xml'' と ''bin/Regions/default.xml'' でサーバ名，ポート番号を設定する．
-- ''bin/simconfig.xml'' は ''v0.5.7'' では無くなっている．

*** GRID　Server類の起動 [#h93d4a3d]
 # /etc/init.d/mysql start
 # mono OpenSim.Grid.UserServer.exe
 # mono OpenSim.Grid.GridServer.exe
 # mono OpenSim.Grid.AssetServer.exe
 # mono OpenSim.Grid.InventoryServer.exe
 # mono OpenSim.Grid.MessagingServer.exe

- [[MySQL]] の設定が必要
-ユーザの登録が必要　（User Server）
-ホストの名前が引けないとエラーになる

*** Region (Sim) Server の起動 [#ze259db9]
 # mono OpenSim.exe -gridmode=true
- gridmode は設定ファイル bin/OpenSim.ini でも指定可能

*** Viewer　（Windows） の設定 [#x6b4653a]
 SecondLife.exe -loginuri http://ユーザサーバアドレス:8002/

*** バックグラウンドでのサーバ起動 [#k8dad813]
- 起動 （GRID_NAME は識別のための名前）
 # screen -dmS GRID_NAME mono /usr/local/opensim4/bin/OpenSim.exe
- 停止
 # screen -S GRID_NAME -p 0 -X stuff $'quit\n'

** OpenDynamicsEngine (with ODE) [#g69f0fe5]
- 物理エンジンに ''OpenDynamicsEngine'' を使用する場合はメモリが不足する可能性があるので，''opensim-ode.sh'' で OpenSim.exe を起動する．
